A professional performer, Bridget is a full member of ACTRA and Canadian Actors' Equity. She has appeared in
regional theatre in Ontario and Atlantic Canada, and worked as a voice actor for CBC TV and CBC Radio, among others.
A versatile vocalist, she is formally trained in classical and jazz styles and holds 2 silver medals from the Royal
Conservatory of Music in Toronto. She studied Music, English, and Journalism in university before pursuing her career
in the performing arts.
Recent credits include Come From Away - Gander (Newfoundland), and two tours with Theatre New Brunswick -- Resident
Aliens (2022-2023 season), and Wood Buffalo (2023-2024 season).
As a musician, Bridget has been the lead singer for various wedding bands and club acts, playing venues and special
events throughout Ontario from Toronto-Niagara Falls and all points in-between. She also performs frequently as a
church soloist and as part of a number of acoustic jazz-pop and piano-vocal duos. Bridget is a published songwriter,
a member of SOCAN, and a recipient of a New Talent Grant from FACTOR (Foundation to Assist Canadian Talent on Record.)
From 2014-2015, Bridget was one of the resident artists in the Ontario Shebang project, a multi-disciplinary artists’
collective in partnership with Toronto's Dreamwalker Dance Company. She has performed for Culture Days, workshopped
new plays with the graduating playwright class at U of T, and in 2019, she was hired by the City of Burlington to
assist with evaluating arts grants applications to the city's Arts & Culture department. As an actor-in-education,
she has spent a decade working in experiential learning with McMaster University's Centre for Simulation-Based Learning,
Humber College Sim Lab, Pharmacy Examination Board of Canada, and the Touchstone Institute in Toronto.
Bridget is also an Animal Lover, an enthusiastic Home Cook, a Pop Culture Junkie, an Avid Reader, a Wine Enthusiast,
a Gutsy Chick for Crohn's and
Colitis Awareness, a Volunteer, and a Collector of Shoes.
In 2022, Bridget graduated with a Certificate in Contemporary Management in Arts & Culture at the University of New

Bridget is pleased to be on the Planning Committee for the Arts Atlantic Symposium (AAS) presented by ArtsLink NB.
This is a three-day, multidisciplinary conference for artists and arts professionals across the Atlantic provinces,
providing an opportunity for participants to gather, learn, connect, and collaborate, and build working relationships
within the industry. The AAS highlights all disciplines, languages, and cultures in New Brunswick while engaging all
of the Atlantic region in a significant discussion about the elements of Atlantic art-making that make our work unique.
The Symposium includes a public festival with live performances, art installations, and public exhibitions.

Live Bait Theatre, Sackville, NB. New Works Festival/Social Distancing Short Play Festival - ONLINE. Live Bait Theatre is pleased to present their 3rd annual New Works Festival, which includes a variety of artistic projects in various states of development, from ideas to finished projects. Pandemic Project with Live Bait Theatre: Bridget is one of the artists and individuals participating in Live Bait's process of documenting the human experience during the COVID-19 pandemic. The results of this project will be presented to the public at a later date.
Update Spring-Summer 2020:
As a result of COVID-19, the theatre and performing arts communities have been largely sidelined. However, the arts will return after this pandemic (as they have after all previous pandemics), and to that end, people are keeping busy and planning ahead for when we can all be together again. Bridget has been busy participating in virtual/online readings with local theatre companies HubCity Theatre, Live Bait Theatre, and the Fundy Fringe Festival. Additionally, she is participating in a reading group with Ontario's Shadowpath Theatre, helping to vet scripts as their production team works toward presenting a season of classical works in 2021.

Bridget returns this summer to the Newmarket National Play Festival and will be appearing in 3 shows: Buried, Written in Stone, and Seducing Harry, playing (respectively) a landlord in Newfoundland, a not-so-nice angel, and a lonely lady fixated on her repairman. Bridget completed her recording for the Human Voicebank project. VocaliD and the
Human Voicebank collect voices and "blend" them to create custom voices for people born
unable to speak or who have lost the ability to speak due to illness or injury. Every voice is unique, just like the patients.

OrBeOK Campaign. Bridget was proud to be a part of an an important campaign to spread awareness about painkiller dependency. Appearing as a "living mannequin", Bridget was cast as one of the faces of everyday prescription drug addiction in a public service announcement in support of activist Chris Cull. The Ontario Shebang concluded with a series of presentations at the Burlington Performing Arts Centre. Over 3 years, The Ontario Shebang,
a project of Toronto’s Dreamwalker Dance Company, unfolded through a series of residencies, workshops, and studio events that culminated
in theatrical productions, artist installations and site-specific performances in multiple communities across the province. Bridget is proud to
have been part of the Burlington Shebang.

The Actor’s Brain: Bridget was excited to be one of the actors chosen for a neurological study at McMaster University's LIVE Lab
that explores the psychology of role-play in stage performers. During phase one, actors performed a range of emotions on camera
while hooked up to motion-capture technology. This is an ongoing study with further experiments scheduled in 2017.

Bridget is an active member of the Arts and Cultural Collective of Burlington and this month she was one of nearly 200 artists and cultural workers from Burlington who came out for the first ever Burlington Artists Family Portrait.

Dangerous Curves: A Noir-Inspired Cabaret. After several years sitting on the back burner, Bridget’s pet project cabaret show has a complete script,
wardrobe, props, and set pieces. She is in the process of completing musical arrangements for the 15 songs selected for the show, and plans a first reading in the fall of this year.
August 2015:
Bridget obtained her Firearms Safety Certificate for both restricted and non-restricted weapons. The training and examinations were administered by
Firearms Safety Education Service of Ontario (FSESO). Now when she gets sent out for law enforcement roles, she can realistically handle those prop guns!
"Close Encounters of the Creatively Collective Conscious" -- Dreamwalker Dance Company and
The Whole Shebang are bringing together Burlington/Hamilton-based writers, musicians, actors,
dancers, costume designers, and media artists as part of a unique artists' collective.

Bridget will be participating in the Script Reading Series of the
Female Eye Film Festival in Toronto.
The Script Readings are co-presented by ACTRA Toronto and ACTRA National, featuring ACTRA
members. The actors will read works-in-progress scripts and the writers will receive feedback
from industry guests. Some of Bridget's roles for the weekend include a klutzy production
assistant, a highbrow Boston socialite, and a nasty lady drug dealer!

Bridget has been chosen as one of the Resident Artists for the Burlington Shebang project in conjunction
with the Burlington Performing Arts Centre
and under the direction of Toronto-based choreographer/director

Toronto: September 21, September 28, and October 5. Bridget performed as part of the Sondheim in September concert series at the Metropolitan Community Church (115 Simpson Avenue, Riverdale). Proceeds from these concerts go to benefit The Actors Fund of Canada.
